You will be a key member of the growth team in Australia’s first student VC fund, differentiating you from any other student coming out of University in Australia. By the end of the year, you would’ve contributed to a generational idea, put a unique experience under your belt, met the most ambitious students in the ecosystem, and potentially have helped identify Australia’s next unicorn 🦄

🧠 What you'll be doing

Develop novel event concepts, themes and agendas that align with the organisation’s mission and objectives


  • Coordinate event logistics and develop scalable processes around things including securing venues, catering, AV equipment and other necessary resources

  • Collaborate within a highly-motivated and friendly team of events directors, marketers & designers to build high-quality promotional plans

  • Plan and manage events, including: pitch competitions, workshops, networking sessions, speaker series, etc.

  • Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and other participants to improve future events

  • Create and execute strategic plans for the expansion and diversification of our events portfolio, taking into account market trends and participant preferences

  • You are a current student at an Australian university and will graduate end of 2025 or later (all degrees and study fields are welcome ie. PhD, MBA, CompSci, Eng, etc)

  • If selected, you can commit a minimum of 6 hours per week (flexibility with exam season) until the end of 2025 with awesome opportunities to continue in 2026

  • If selected, you will be able to start the first week of Feb

Recruitment Timeline

Applications End: December 29

Round 1 Interviews: January 2 to 15

Round 2 Interviews: January 16 to 30

Results: Feb 3

Team Orientation: Feb 6 to 9

Training Program: Feb 10 onwards
